We are here to help with back rent and/or security deposit!
if you have received a Court Eviction Order - please note this is required to proceed with funding assistance. If the arrears are not more than three (3) months we will consider your circumstances.
Clients who are receiving TANF or Section 8 will not qualify for assistance.
Requirements to be eligible for the program:
- - Must be employed
- - Must be able to prove hardship and provide documentation to support your hardship
- - If you are a first-time recipient, with a Section 8 Voucher you are eligible for an appointment for a Security Deposit.
An appointment is mandatory for this program.
Documentation needed for the Household;
- - ID - all adults
- - Birth Certificates
- - Social Security Cards
- - Health Insurance Cards
- - Proof of Income (two (2) months)
- - Social Security Award letters
- - Family First Card and Benefit letter - if applicable
- - Current Lease or Lease Renewal
- - Child Support (print out)- if applicable
- - Current Tax Return
- - PSE&G (Full bill)

Application Process
For all Paterson Task Force programs, the following is required:
- Proof of income for the household,
- Photo ID for applicant
- Social Security Cards for household
Additional information will be required for Energy Assistance, and housing services.
